What is the form of government?
The United States of America's government form is a Democratic Republic. That means Americans vote for representatives that convey their views into the government. Other systems were set in place by the government to prevent the tyranny of government over its citizens and the tyranny of the majority over minority. These include seperation of church and state, the three branch system, federalism (local, state, and federal government), checks and balances, the Bill of Rights, and the electoral college. While not perfect they reflect the ideals of American society.
What is the American Dream?
I believe the American Dream is to be able to pursue the ideals set forth by the constitution. Putting that simply it is the ability to pursue life, liberty, and happiness. However, certain criteria needs to be met to establish a basis to achieve this like a decent standard of living and fair representation.
