The Attainibility of the American Dream

Previous to the United State's spread across the North American continent the perception of the American Dream was Manifest Destiny.

American's tend to associate the American Dream with riches.

Persistence has almost always been said to help citizens to achieve the American Dream. However, when there are no jobs what can a citizen work at?

America after World War Two began projecting the might of American ideals across the world.

Another perception of the American Dream grew from the soldiers returning World War Two. This culminated in the commonly associated Nuclear Family in the concept of the American Dream.

America during the 80's and 90's mainly in poverty stricken areas experienced a surge in the drug crack. Resulting in the disillusionment of Americans in the American Dream.

Another major disillusionment of Americans occured during the Great 2008 Recession of America's economy.
