Successes in the United States

Through the help of the French and perseverance of American soldiers the Colonists defeated one of the greatest world powers of its time. While Washington's army certainly did not look like this during the Revolutionary war they did fight an uncertain war and won.

The United States has reached a stage of developed industry that is not found in most countries

Winning World War Two allowed America to become one of the global superpowers for decades after.

America has been at the forefront for computer technology in the world devoloping one of the first digital computers. Later on also developing the grandfather of the internet, ARPAnet.

The United States during the Cuban Missile Crisis did not engage in World War Three.

The fact that the Civil Rights succeeded in changing American law has been a success for every American's freedom. Though prejudice is certainly a problem still in America.
