Failures of the United States

Scars from the oppression faced by generations of Americans are deep. The very fact that slavery existed in America at all is disheartening to the ideals Americans profess to.

The basis of the majority of the American economy was and still is based on world trade. Therefore after world war one we became the dominant economic world power. However, Americans neglected to realize the culmination of factors that lead to economic instability. These included overproduction, defaulting of European war debt, and the recovery of European nations after world war one.

The United States of America was the first nation to develop atomic weaponry. Later deploying such bombs twice in acts of war. Bringing unto the world the capability of Mutually Assured Desruction unlike that known before.

Fred Hampton was an active member of the Chicago, Illinois chapter of the Black Panther Party. A raid was conducted by Chicago police on the apartment of Hampton with a warrant for illegal weaponry. However, the intent of the raid seemed to be carried out to kill him and others by any means necessary. Circumventing the judicial processes set forth in American law.
